Choice Hotels launches breakfast program in partnership with Entegra Culinary Consulting

The world’s #1 food GPO and Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, teamed up with Entegra Culinary Consulting to pilot and launch new signature breakfast items including:
- Comfort’s Build Your Own Breakfast Bowl: A concept that gives guests the flexibility to create a meal tailored to their own tastes and dietary preferences.
- Country Inn & Suites by Radisson: Pillsbury Biscuit Sandwiches and Michael’s Cinnamon Swirl French Toast Guests enjoy an appetizing and satisfying breakfast option for dining in or on the go.
- Florida’s Natural orange juice and General Mills cereals, two Entegra GPO relationship supply partners, will complement the breakfast options.
Culinary consulting delivers creativity, cost efficiency and collaboration
Using extensive research, including consumer insights and preferences and Choice’s desire to bring cost efficiencies for their franchisees, Entegra Culinary Consulting leveraged Entegra’s GPO (group purchasing organization) relationships to bring supplier and manufacturing partners to the table. Idea sessions, product selections, recipe development and taste testing unfolded over several months from Entegra Performance Kitchen alongside Entegra Chefs John Csukor, Lynn Hay, and Kevin Sennett.

“What really stood out to me was how collaborative this whole process was — it was a big reason we were able to deliver such strong results said Chef John Csukor, Entegra’s VP of Culinary. “Bringing operators into the conversation early on was a smart move. It helped build the buy-in we needed to bring these programs to life in a meaningful way.”
