Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 activity, several of Entegra’s manufacturers are reporting significant labor shortages resulting in production slowdowns and delays.
As in the past, there will likely be a higher risk with short shelf-life items and products from production systems that are more labor-intensive, including proteins, for example.
With the rise in COVID cases, Entegra anticipates impacts on our prime distributors as it did in the fall and early winter of 2021. Our supply team is actively engaged with our contracted suppliers to monitor and react to these situations as they occur. Still, we anticipate product shortages and products unavailable over the next 30-45 days.
Additional Mitigation Activities Underway Include:
- Working closely with our contracted distributor partners to review product substitutions and identify contracted alternative products
- Providing our top contracted suppliers, based on volume, with usage forecasts enabling our vendors to focus their production efforts on the products most utilized by Entegra operators
